Full nasal assessment
Breathing problems are not always caused by the septum alone. The turbinates, nasal valves and sinuses are evaluated too, so the right problem is treated.
A deviated septum can block airflow, disturb sleep and affect your quality of life. Septoplasty straightens the wall between the nostrils so that air can flow freely, without changing the shape of your nose.
The nasal septum is the wall of cartilage and bone that divides the nose into two sides. When it is bent, one or both sides can be narrowed. In septoplasty, the deviated parts are reshaped or repositioned through incisions inside the nose, so there are no visible scars.

The goal is a nose that works well. The structures that support the nose are preserved while the airway is opened.
If you also want a change in shape, septoplasty and rhinoplasty can be planned as a single operation (septorhinoplasty).
